Privacy

What we collect. What we don’t.

Tycho is a weekly letter and a small site. We do not sell the list. We do not run a dossier. This is the whole policy.

The letter

If you subscribe on the site today, we store the email address you give us in your browser so we can move you onto the Monday letter list. Letter sending will run through Beehiiv once that list is live. Until then, the site form is an interest signup, not a live mailing list. When letters go out, you will be able to unsubscribe in one click.

We do not sell, rent, or trade subscriber addresses. We do not send a daily drip. The letter is the product.

The site

The site uses Google Analytics (GA4) to see whether pages are read: roughly where a session comes from, which issue was opened, and whether the subscribe form was used. We do not use analytics to identify you by name. Ads are not run from this property.

The host and the analytics vendor will process technical data (IP address, browser, timestamps) as part of delivering the site. That is ordinary web infrastructure, not a Tycho profile.

Mail and X

If you write hello@tycho.media or editor@tycho.media, we read the message and keep it as long as it is useful to the desk. That is correspondence, not a marketing list.

The X account (@tychodotmedia) is a public feed. X’s own terms apply there. Following it does not subscribe you to the letter.

Other people’s tools

Beehiiv may show Tycho to readers of other letters if we run a paid recommendation. Those readers opt in. Google and Beehiiv have their own policies for the systems we use. We do not control those documents.

Questions

Write the desk: hello@tycho.media. Ask to be removed and we will remove you.
